Words of affirmation

I feel honored to have supported hundreds of kiddos, parents, and families–and to have worked with so many skilled therapists.

Here are a few testimonials from former clients.

“Sophie embodies the wellness that she supports others to attain with ease, confidence, humility and humor. She has a multi-faceted expertise and I have had the gift of working with her as a parent (completing parenting course and ongoing weekly calls)... Sophie believes that individuals and families can attain wellness. I was dubious about this, due to my own complex trauma and experiences. However, with her commitment to my breakthroughs and my dedication, I'm confident that wellness is possible too.”” | Mother of 2 year old girl and 4 year old boy.

“Our biggest struggle was connecting on parenting. Sophie was the perfect fit for our family during our time of soul searching…The parenting course has given us as parents a base to start with; common ground to build on instead of one of ‘always being right.’ We gained so many tools for the future not just for our highly sensitive son but our sassy independent daughter as well.” | Mother of an 8 year old boy

“Sophie's paradigm is provocative, profound and progressive. For the first time we were given new pathways to parent. After talking to several other therapists and coaches and researching as much as I could, I was disheartened that we would ever find the help we needed. But then we found Sophie. For me, tears came often because of the newfound peace created by her paradigm. This was the first time somebody outside of our house could finally help us. And she did help. Profoundly. For the first time in forever, we’re walking out of the old dark woods I thought we were going to be stuck in.” | Father of 4 year old boy

“Our 4-year-old was having trouble working through his really big feelings, and my husband and I felt confused about how to help him. Sophie helped us identify his challenges and how we could support him. Our son has gained self-confidence and we have gained clarity and confidence as parents. Sophie is an absolutely wonderful person and held space for our family to find our rhythm. So grateful!” | Mother of a 4 year old boy

“Rooted Rhythm was a game changer for us! We needed someone to help us navigate parenting our oldest son, who is 5 years old, who we learned is highly sensitive. We started sessions with Sophie and instantly felt a connection and her support for us and our son! We honestly noticed such a positive difference after working with Sophie to think about our son's behaviors differently and learn how to support him as a highly sensitive child!

We would 100% recommend Rooted Rhythm and Sophie to anybody looking for support parenting highly sensitive children!” - Parents of 3 boys

“My husband and I were looking for a therapist for assistance with our 10 year old daughter. I had no idea what a blessing Sophie and her experience would be. We met with her for a consultation, and she presented the "tuned in parenting program" as something to help support us. Initially, we were hesitant, but when presented with the modules and topics, it seemed like a great option due to the flexibility.

Wow! This program is everything we needed and more. We immediately saw changes in our parenting and how beneficial it was to both our children and our partnership. The program is so supportive and flexible if time is tight. There are recorded information sessions and lots of references. The meditation at the start and end is so helpful to do before listening to really get present and focused. I really think all parents should take this program.

We continue to re-listen and refer to different topics now as different challenges arise. I recommend this to all parents! This is the best investment for your family to support in more ways than you can imagine!” I Mother of a 10 year old girl

Have questions?

We’ve got answers.

  • This course is ideal for parents who can identify at least one of their children as sensitive. The material was created around proven strategies that have worked for hundreds of families I’ve helped in my coaching program. Parents experience the most transformation when they are eager to increase their self awareness, engage in their own inner healing, and challenge themselves to try new ways of being throughout the process. This course is for parents who know there is a better way to live and are ready for change now.

  • Traits of some (but not all) highly sensitive children include:

    • Emotional extremes

    • Big reactions to sensory stimulation

    • More meltdowns than peers

    • A high need for control which can result in rigidity and inflexibility

    • Fear and caution in new situations

    • A brain that has a difficult time shutting off

    • Perfectionism

    • Low self esteem and self deprecating thoughts

    • High intuition and perception

  • It’s up to you! Students move through the content at their own pace. All modules will be released immediately upon purchase. This course was originally designed to be taken over 40 days (1 module every 4 days) for maximum results. Whatever your pace, I encourage a daily commitment to stay engaged in practices and intention. Some students have chosen to take in this content over the course of 6 months or 1 year.

  • Absolutely! The best results come from co-parents who are willing to “do their work” and learn together. You can purchase one course access and share an account with your co-parent to experience the transformation together.

I recommend scheduling a 30-60 minute weekly meeting with your partner or co-parent to review and share what you both are learning. This will allow you to integrate the material more deeply and create action plans to support your family together.

We ask that you refrain from sharing the course amongst multiple families so that each family can invest in their own transformation.

  • This course isn’t a good fit for parents who blame their children for their family’s tension. It’s not meant for parents who are unwilling to shift their own perceptions and behaviors in order to support their kiddos.

The course is also not a replacement for therapy. I recommend that parents with kids who have experienced significant trauma get support from an individual therapist (for both themselves and their kiddos).
